Scan inventory

  1. Open Stockerie inside Shopify and choose an active location.
  2. Choose Add stock, Remove stock, Count stock or Transfer.
  3. Focus the barcode field and scan with a USB or Bluetooth scanner, or use the camera. Enter also accepts a SKU.
  4. Review quantities. A count sets physical on-hand stock only for scanned items.
  5. Review changes, then Apply to Shopify. Every completed change is saved in History.

Stock changed during scanning

Refresh stock, check the new baseline and review again. Stockerie blocks stale updates. An interrupted update remains saved for a safe retry with the same idempotency key. Never start another update to compensate for an unknown result.

Product not found or ambiguous

Ensure the barcode or SKU matches exactly in Shopify, inventory tracking is enabled and the variant is stocked at the selected location. If multiple variants share a code, choose the correct one. Leading zeroes are preserved.

Locations and scanners

Transfers require the item to be stocked at both merchant-managed locations. Camera scanning requires HTTPS and browser permission; manual and hardware input remain available. Starter costs $7.99 per month or $79.90 per year and supports 100 distinct products per session. Pro costs $19.99 per month or $199.90 per year and supports 250 distinct products, transfers of up to 125 products, reversal drafts and a catalog barcode audit. Both plans include a 14-day trial, CSV import/export and CODE128 labels. Shopify handles subscriptions and plan changes. There are no scan or usage fees. Manage your plan in Settings.
